"Blossoming Believers is the name given to a small Islamic group I teach on Saturdays, and it all started during Covid when teaching a small group, I realised that accompanying resources for teaching need to be creative, vibrant, colourful yet informative."

Our Advisors

SHAYKH HAYTHAM TAMIM

Shaykh Haytham Tamim, founder of Utrujj Foundation, is a respected Islamic scholar with over 30 years of experience. He holds top certifications in Quran, Hadith, and Fiqh from scholars in Syria and Lebanon. With a background in Islamic Jurisprudence, he is known for his authentic and balanced teaching style, emphasising the Quran and Sunnah. Active in the UK, he serves on advisory boards and is well-regarded for his tolerant approach within the Muslim community. Shaykh provides his stamp of approval on the Islamic content within the children's books.

AYESHA KHAN

Ayesha Khan, Head of Operations at Utrujj Foundation, works closely with Shaykh Haytham to oversee the delivery of Islamic courses and classes. Having studied English at Oxford University, she now combines her love of language with her passion for uncovering the meanings of the Quran for modern times. She has documented and edited a range of booklets and blogs for Utrujj and also takes great joy in editing Islamic books for children and is currently the key editor for Blossoming Believers.
